1 Answer My 2005 peugeot 307 1.6 hdi engine cut out when i drove over ripple strips (these are designed to shake dried mud off trucks in a quarry). I have not been able to start the motor since. Peugeot. And get rid of it while you're there. Not much help, but I'm working on Mum to get rid of hers as it is a piece of cr&p, drives woefully, keeps falling apart, has been in for minor detail

I've got a 51 plate 307 with the same problem and anti air pollution and then the engine management light comes on and it's very sluggish I found that if I unplug the wires out of the air filter it solves the problem but will this cause any other problems in the future I'm not sure. Peugeot 307 (2001 - 2007) - 03 2.0 HDI Multiple problems & questions. Ihave a 307 2.0 HDI 110 BHP, with the DW10ATED engine. Coming home last night on the motorway, the car lost power then cut out. Opened the bonnet, and the top hose coming off the intercooler to the inlet manifold intake was collapsing/being sucked in and restricting the airflow, thus stopping the engine.
